Our Doctors

Jeri Schneebeck, O.D., F.C.O.V.D.

Jeri is the founding optometrist of Highline Vision Center and a leader in her field.

Friendly with a good sense of humor, Dr. Jeri Schneebeck is energetic and people focused.

One of her greatest joys is getting to know patients and their families over the years and having the honor of caring for their next generation. A native Coloradoan, Jeri grew up in Colorado Springs with her Mom and Dad, two younger brothers and was blessed to live within a mile of both sets of grandparents. Her relationship with her grandparents gave her a love and appreciation for the life experiences seniors’ offer.

Jeri received her undergraduate degree from University of Colorado, Boulder. She received her doctor of optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR. Active in the Colorado Optometric Association Jeri has been involved in planning the annual educational conference for over 30 years. She is also involved with the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD) where she has mentored optometrists and therapists to achieve their certification in the specialty of vision therapy.

Jeri has been practicing in Aurora, CO since 1982. She is very proud of Highline’s commitment to community involvement. Highline has granted seven wishes through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Over the years she has also enjoyed helping her Highline team members further develop their professional skills and education.

In her spare time, Dr. Jeri enjoys traveling and golfing with her husband Terry and walking her two dogs. Jeri says: “I feel very blessed that I can help people in so many ways through my work as an optometrist. I especially love my work with children and students, helping them to read and learn more easily, thereby giving them more opportunities and choices in life.”

Jennifer Redmond, O.D., F.C.O.V.D.

Jennifer has been with Highline since 2001 and specializes in the intersection between vision and learning.

Positive, practical, and focused, Dr. Jennifer Redmond is a good communicator who makes people feel comfortable and relaxed.

She loves working in a profession where she can care for people from 6 months to 96 years old. Born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa, Jennifer and her brother, Ryan, grew up catching snakes, climbing trees, fishing, and building forts. In school she was active in tennis, running, and playing the viola in the orchestra. Being a musician herself, she is very aware of the visual issues facing musicians.

She attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa where she studied biology and chemistry when she wasn’t hiking or camping. She received her doctor of optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. She was awarded her board certification in 2005, specializing in vision and learning, vision therapy, and neuro-rehabilitative optometry. Jennifer is a member of a small team who organizes, plans, and runs an annual vision conference in Estes Park. This enables her to give back to her profession promoting education and life long learning.

Jennifer is passionate about volunteering for a local non-profit, the Raptor Education Foundation, working with hawks, owls, eagles, falcons, and vultures to promote environmental literacy. She occasionally takes her hand held equipment with her and performs eye health exams on the birds. She is also a girl scout leader, serving as a role model for youth in our community.

Dr. Redmond is a member of the American Optometric Association, Colorado Optometric Association, College of Optometrists in Vision Development, the Optometric Extension Program, and the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association.

She enjoys hiking fourteeners and watching Rockies games with her husband, Hayes, who is also an Optometrist. Together they have started “homesteading”, by raising chickens and ducks, gardening, and beekeeping. They live in Parker, where they are raising their three children, Madelyn, Nolan, and Alice. You will find them in Estes Park in the summer and fall enjoying the park, the mountains, and the peacefulness as a family. Dr. Redmond enjoys connecting with others and improving their lives.  “I come to Highline each day knowing that I am making a difference for people; that their lives are better because their vision is better. I leave the office more excited and invigorated than when I arrived.”

Nicholas Doyle, O.D.

Nick is has been part of the Highline team since 2008 and brings great expertise in sports vision training.

Fun and energetic, with a good sense of humor, Dr. Nicholas Doyle is focused on eye care for the whole family.

He enjoys providing comprehensive and compassionate care in a relaxed atmosphere. Raised in Rock Island, IL, Nick stayed busy playing baseball and football competitively with his younger brother Andrew. He had the opportunity to coach youth tee-ball and traveling baseball teams, which sparked his passion for sports vision training today. When he wasn’t occupied with sports, he spent a lot of his time learning to play the piano and guitar.

Nick received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He continued his education at Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He believes in life-long learning and served as the president for the Denver Metro Optometric Society in 2016. He also stays active in the Colorado Optometric Association.

Nick and his wife Meagan, also an optometrist, moved to Colorado in 2008. They have two children, Nolan and Mearyn. They enjoy spending time together with their two dogs, O.D. (pronounced odie) and Bowman. In their spare time, the Doyle family enjoys music, cooking, photography, and cycling.

In addition to sports vision training, Dr. Doyle is also passionate about specialty contact lens fitting, especially for patients with corneal diseases such as keratoconus. He is dedicated to finding solutions for these patients to help restore their vision. Dr. Doyle welcomes you to become part of his Highline Vision Center family. He encourages questions and truly enjoys your participation in your and your family’s eye care.

Jenna Steffen, O.D., F.C.O.V.D.

Jenna joined the optometric team at Highline in 2017.

Enthusiastic, smart and driven, Dr. Jenna Steffen has a passion for improving the quality of her patients’ lives.

She was born and grew up in Winfield, Kansas with her Mom, Dad and sister. The first time she began to think about Optometry as a career was as a little girl during the local Halloween parade. It was a windy day and a tiny piece of metal blew into her eye. Her optometrist removed it for her and immediately made most of the pain go away. From then on, optometry as a career always had a place in the back of her mind.

Jenna eventually found her way to the University of Kansas where she studied Organismal Biology and Business. To take a closer look at what it meant to work in eye care, she took a position at a private practice where she worked in almost every department throughout her time at KU. It was there that she first learned about how vision impacts development and learning, how Optometry can help people find relief after traumatic brain injuries and how satisfying it can be to show someone the world through a new pair of glasses. She was hooked! She went on to earn her doctor of optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee and achieved fellowship with the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.

Dr. Jenna has a passion for pediatric vision care. As an aunt to two little boys, she strives to make eye exams fun and not intimidating. She believes that early detection and treatment of vision problems is crucial because vision guides development and learning. Not only is this important in children, but for adults as well. Dr. Jenna has family members who have suffered from vision loss and has experienced how devastating it can be. This drives her to take extra care with each exam. She strongly believes in preventative, comprehensive eye health and vision care so that her patients can not only reach their potential, but maintain healthy vision for a lifetime.

Dr. Jenna is a proud Jayhawk and loves cheering on the Rockies, Broncos and Rapids. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with her fiancé and two poodles.
